This is a section of the heart of an old tree found half buried in the humid soil of the equatorial jungle of Malaysia, the soft wood part having been decomposed naturally, it did not require cleaning

This exceptional wood is distinguished not only by its density, which makes it a fast-flowing wood, but also by its powerful and captivating scent at room temperature even at 10 centimeters, forming a halo of freshness all around

The darker outer part forms a shell as hard as bone, the interior is softer although very dense with a tight grain so the oily pores sparkle in the sun

Its unique scent, both fresh and complex, gives off notes of menthol, medicinal herbs, licorice and cinnamon, creating an unforgettable olfactory experience
